Donald Trump lost the weight and regained it again in a surprising way this week, according to his own body.

During an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash on Monday, Trump told Bash that his doctor told him to take a vitamin C supplement in order to prevent his body from storing fat in the form of triglycerides.

Trump said the pill was “the most effective” and “the cheapest” to get.

“I was really worried that I’d just end up getting fat,” he said.

“I’d never been told that before.”

Trump also weighed in on the “sugar tax” which has been floated by Democrats to raise money for healthcare reform and is considered one of the most politically controversial policies in recent memory.

“There is no sugar tax,” Trump said.

“You are going to pay for this thing, I’m going to give you your money back.”

“You’re going to have to be a little more careful about the way you look at it.”

He also weighed into the “alternative facts” meme that has been floating around lately.

“We have a lot of people who don’t understand things,” Trump added.

“They are so politically correct.”
